Releases
This song marks the end of the ‘PAIN MUSEUM’ era and provides a hint at the direction Brevin Kim are going with their next project.
‘Pirate Radio’ is a hijacked broadcast that flows through stories about unrequited love and the things that don’t end up working out in a relationship.
Santangelo delivers an undeniable performance over swirling production from the one and only Dijon.
Brevin Kim open the doors to their most raw and honest body of work to date. Welcome to the ‘PAIN MUSEUM.’
Hamond's third No Matter single is laced with heartache as his vocals glide over intricate layers of guitar.
Santangelo is right in the pocket on this single, flowing over laid back drums and bending synths.
Brevin Kim keep the energy high on the intense final single before release of their album PAIN MUSEUM.
“Badget is a nonsensical word that matched the beautiful chords and choppy electronic production. It felt like the confusing and conflicting emotions that come with leaving a relationship. So with this song, I announce a new word: badget.”
“Ice cold and my face might freeze / Neck froze like it's 32 degrees.” Brevin Kim’s latest single shows off their knack for unforgettable pop melodies over icy 808s.
Brevin Kim teamed up with Curtis Waters for a chaotic single about “that feeling of having to hide how you really feel.”
Santangelo linked up with Zack Villere and Quiet Luke for “Haptics,” the second single off his upcoming album AdWorld.
“Angels is about being watched over and protected by people around you, even when things are not perfect. They are the angels.”
“We’d been going through the same shit for a while when we started writing this song. But things had started to shift, in our relationships, simultaneously. We both were turning a page but in two completely different ways. This song is a mix of our two stories.”
The first offering from his upcoming album AdWorld, “Bliss” is a self-produced 2min crash course into the mind of Santangelo. This harsh and fast paced track features additional production from rising stars Quiet Luke, Francis Brady, and frequent Oneohtrix Point Never collaborator Matt Cohn.
“LAY IT ALL ON ME is a glimpse into our lives and relationships since we moved out to LA. It’s us being unsure about our decisions and the people we let in. It’s also about reaching a breaking point—a point we’ve both been to over and over, but are no longer phased by. It’s a familiar cycle. Let’s have the conversation. Just lay it all on me. What did I do wrong now?”
Front to back, Jelani’s debut album is filled with nostalgia, warm energy, and a comforting spirit. "This was made out of loneliness," Jelani explains. "I just want to make people feel less alone. Like dude it’s ok, I'm here for ya."
Equal parts reflective and unapologetic, “YOU.F.O.” combines some of the duo’s most vulnerable songwriting with eardrum-rattling 808s and overblown drums.
“I just kept singing to myself, ‘why do I do the things I do?’ I definitely wasn’t in the best place but that line came from an honest one. It made me think about how we tend to numb ourselves and go on autopilot.”
“I wrote this song around the time when George Floyd was killed, there were wildfires everywhere, and it genuinely felt like the world was coming to an end,” reflects Jelani. “It was a chaotic time and everything felt like it was in flux. I think that made me want to escape this reality a bit.”
This single marks the beginning of a new era for Brevin Kim—one mark by raw, vulnerable music with addictive hooks and hyper-personal vocals. “This is a story about losing someone you love and the drastic measures you take to stay sane as you deal with that pain.”
Jelani wrote “Marigold” after learning the nickname for a marigold flower is little lion and making the connection with his own name, which translates to mighty lion. “It’s my soul song,” explains Jelani. “At my core, I am this marigold mellow—a quiet soul. It’s what I aspire to be and, without my flaws, this is who I aim for.”
Jelani takes us back to 2012 with a blissful cover of “Angels” by The xx, recorded with Jack Kolbe in between sessions for Jelani’s upcoming album.
Brevin Kim’s impossible-to-classify album sounds like the future of pop music. It’s the product of over a year’s work and was finished in L.A. after a cross-country road trip mid-pandemic.
David Wolves’ ambitious debut album ‘VIOLENT’ is finally here, a project that encapsulates a lifetime of experiences, from the foothills of Medellin, Colombia to American suburbia.
On the final single from David Wolves’ debut album ‘VIOLENT,’ he mixes rap and melodies as he considers growing up in America during turbulent times.
Brevin Kim pair their most accessible song yet, “Manzanita St.” with the experimental "!holyshitohmygod!" for another versatile two song release.
This two song pack features the in-your-face “I Need Water” and indie rock inspired “he doesn’t love her.”
“I invited friends and family to send videos in of themselves doing whatever they wanted to do with the song and the final result is something I can’t really put into words, but I think after watching it you’ll feel a bit different than you did before.”
Brevin Kim and Lil West linked up in NYC to make this EP over two days of creativity and collaboration.
Jelani’s most upbeat release yet is an indie rock song about constantly falling in love with girls he meets and not knowing what to do or say.
